I saw Rebecca's first tooth today. It's just about to poke through her bottom gum (on the left side). So of course as soon as I called Rich (and my mom), I got out the camera. And of course Rebecca did everything in her power (and she's pretty powerful for someone who only weights 18 lbs.) to make sure I didn't get the shot I wanted. But I got some pretty cute ones instead, and here's a sampling:
It's so beautiful and green where you live! I can't get over it.
I have to agree that somehow a baby has intuition of what mom wants and will make sure it doesn't happen. I was trying to get a shot of Grace's teeth the other day and she kept sticking her tongue out, covering them up.
But I do love the chewing on the hand thing she's doing!
Becca stuck her tongue out for the first ten minutes or so, and then decided to chew on the camera strap if it came too close. The hand chewing followed. Then raspberries. Then I gave up and hooked the camera to my computer and she gave me a perfect grin. Of course.
