A Few Firsts

On the 12th Becca (finally!) wore her Murray and Associates T-shirt, a gift from her first Christmas party. She was just a few weeks old at the time, so it's taken a bit for her to grow into it.

On the 17th we took a painfully long ride to Ikea to get more toy shelves for Becca's play corner. (The Philadelphia Ikea store was out of the ones we needed.) Rebecca had her first ice cream cone (we do cups, usually) to celebrate.

On the 18th it got warm enough for the first obsessive stick collecting walk of the season.

That night we had our first Corian plate "fall" off Becca's tray. Serious shattering!

And Rebecca discovered a new way to wear Dad's undershirts.

Here's my least favorite first--on the 19th. Yep, a whole new batch of trouble.

We had our new playgroup over, for the first time, this last week. Becca had a bit of a rough time sharing her toys, and we went to her room twice to talk about it, but I think she did okay overall. It's always easier to share other people's toys, I think.

And the little genius has started making crazy connections lately; here's a couple I can think of:
1. Her poop looks like Maleficent's horns. Seriously?
2. Her tubby crayons are "kinda like Sponge Bob yogurt." "Push it up!" (They click up, and I push up her frozen go-gurt for her.)
3. When she's pretending to be a dog she can't talk, just pant and point.

I'm sure there's tons more, but now she's chanting, "Let me play Eli-fun!" so I've got to set it up.
And one more charming thing--she's started telling people her name is Ariel. Or Parker.

Oh, and here's a cute shot for the road (she kept trying to use the crackers as chopsticks).
