Somehow I thought the three hour window the swing set company gave us was the construction window, not delivery window. Live and learn. Anyway, my parents came over super early to help out (we were 9-12, but I don't think they ever got off "Utah time," as mom always called it when we were at Disneyland as kids--maybe she didn't know how to change her watch?), since Rich needed to work and I had to deal with the swing guys. Rich decided to work from home (still sick) until a 3:00 appointment that he couldn't miss.
and waited,
and waited,
and waited,
until just after noon, when one (one!) guy showed up to put the set together.
Still waiting:
So at 6:00, after Rich had gone to work and back again and Mom and I had picked up lunch and dinner, we had a swing set in the yard.
And she LOVES it!
We capped off my parents' last evening with us with a little fishing.
I wish they lived a little closer.
