Labor Day Weekend

Rich's surfboard is looking a little more beat up than it should, so Friday morning he and Rebecca cleaned it up and we took it to a place in Ocean City to have it looked at. We should be hearing more from Hobie tomorrow.

Since we were already there we spent the night at the Ocean City boardwalk. The house of mirrors took forever. I had a nice time waiting on a bench right outside.

Saturday morning we got up EARLY and headed to the beach. We just can't share a bed with Rebecca anymore. No one got any decent sleep. After the beach it was off to breakfast and on to the aquarium, before heading home. Rebecca slept the whole way, and was bright-eyed and refreshed when we pulled up. We were not.

Sunday we had some shopping to do, but Rich got side-tracked when he spotted a turtle in the middle of the road. He immediately pulled over, ran out in front of another car, and rescued Lucky McBrownEyes. We took him home, threw him in CC (the crab)'s cage, and went shopping. At bedtime that night Rich researched a little about boxer turtles in the internet, and discovered that Lucky's an omnivore. He now lives in the garden, and CC can rest a little easier.

Monday the cousins came over to hang out for the afternoon, and Pop came by for dinner and a little birthday celebration.
