Rebecca and I had our monthly dinner with Amy and Heather last night, and Amy made quite the impression on Becca. She likes Heather, too (don't feel bad, Heather), but Amy walked her around the restaurant when she started to get a little antsy, and walked with us to the car and waved at her while I packed away the stroller, causing Becca to say her name over and over for the first half of the drive home. The second half of the drive was Daddy, then deteriorated to Daaaaadddddddddyyyyyy, with more than a little sobbing--we should have left a little earlier, I think. But as soon as she got home and Daddy cuddled her and filled her tummy with milk she was fine again.
Anyway, first thing this morning I asked her about dinner, and here's what she said:
Our other, equally important, bit of news is that Becca has started walking five or six steps on her own (back and forth between Rich and me). We're very excited, and will try to catch a little snippet of it soon.
