Yogurt

Lately we've been having Go-gurt (yogurt in a tube) as one of our regular snacks.  Becca loves 'em, I can sit her on my lap and pump one into her in just a few minutes, and since she lets me hold the tube they aren't (typically) too messy.  The only down side is that they are only 2.5 oz., and lately we need two for a single snack.

So when Becca absolutely went crazy over the Dora yogurt cups, I thought I'd give them a try.  (She's been a Dora nut since my mom brought her a character plate set with matching fork and spoon.)  Anyway, they're 4 oz. and, I figured, worth a shot.  The upside--she can sit in her chair with one and get some good spoon practice, it takes longer, and I can get a couple of quick things done in the kitchen while she eats.  And the downside--it's just a *little* messier.

Okay, if you look closely you might notice that I bought her Diego yogurt instead of Dora, but the expiration dates were better and I don't like to cut it too close with diary.  And yes, she really did use the spoon for a good part of the time, although the Joker smile may lead you to believe otherwise.

Here she is in the backyard with the lilly pads this weekend.  She had grabbed my camera earlier and changed the settings, so most of the pictures I took that afternoon turned out a little blurry, but I still love them.

Yogurt is a favorite around here as well. We go through LOADS of it.

The cartoon character fetishes that kids go through crack me up. And (at least with my girls) they change in an instant. Elmo was an obsession one day and an outcast the next as Caillou took over.
