Becca and I have been working on a little (or not so little) advent calendar for Christmas. She pushes the pedal on the machine for me, and is *pretty good* about letting up when I shout, "Stop, stop, stop!" In fact, it's now become her favorite phase, and she uses it whenever we sing something she doesn't want. Which is, apparently, often.
We said goodbye to this old bed, in favor of a king. Well, we're still waiting for the bed, but we have the mattress and box springs. I think Rich is sleeping better, but Becca's still cuddling me right to the edge.
Tea parties, especially with Dad, have been BIG lately--she loves helping make the tea, and chose her hat, necklaces, and purses for the occasion.
A little trip to Indian Acres for her first bounce house.
And spending a little time turning this (yard sale $1):
to this:
(The corners still need a little work.)
This weekend we went back to Indian Acres for a ride on Peanut,
apple cider donuts,
and a loooooooooong wagon ride to the pumpkin patch.
We've been driving a little friend to and from preschool for about a week, and Becca won't stop talking about her, her car seat, where her car seat goes, and her mom and sister. We had a great time hanging out with them for lunch on Friday. We also went to a Halloween birthday playdate Friday morning. Becca wore last year's mouse costume, but we found this little number while out this weekend, and she wanted to "take with us." So we did. We also got her a Sleeping Beauty one for the dress up box because the were really cheap. Now I'm going to see how many places I can find for her to wear them for the next month--so stay tuned for more pictures.
