Field Trip, China Town, and the Discovery Museum--32

Rebecca's class had their first field trip of the year on the 6th of October. Once again they went to Indian Acres for some fun, a little pumpkin knowledge (mostly how the pumpkin crop was decimated this year), and a ride out to the "patch," or dirt area where they put the pumpkins trucked in from the "West Coast" (defined as from Michigan on).

Rebecca showed her BFF a caterpillar she found.

Snack time, then more play.

Rebecca can out spin ANYONE on the tire swing. At the end of the day she was on with two boys. When they got off both boys fell over MULTIPLE times, and she walked off like she hadn't been on at all. Hilarious.

In the gift shop with the chattering teeth.

Then we came home and I had to pick MY pumpkin over and over and over and over. She's so excited about this costume.

Saturday was busy. We did a little yard sale-ing, then golf shoe shopping/PetSmart visiting, put in some lake time, and headed to China Town for dinner.

Rebecca looked stunning in a little red dress we saw, but insisted that she had to have pink.

And Sunday we went back to the Discovery Museum so I could check out the dino exhibit.

Leaving for school the other morning:

Nana came over on Tuesday and went out with Becca and Dad while I stayed home to get a little work done, and have an uninterrupted chat with my mom.

They had an impromptu sleep over.
