Rebecca's been stringing letters together lately--here's her first word:
I looked out the window last Sunday morning, just in time to see Lucky McBrowneyes halfway up the fence. She fell before I could get to my camera, then just leaned up against the fence and stared, longingly, at the lake. We set her free, and she went straight for the other garden. So Rich pulled her out and set her "free" again. She headed toward the neighbor's yard, and we haven't seen her since.
Since the Dino exhibit had opened at the Discovery Museum the weekend before, and since we'd been to sick to go, Rich took Rebecca there on Sunday morning while I stayed home and worked on my training stuff.
That afternoon we hung out in the backyard and she caught a little toad.
Snack time art:
Yesterday we went to the library's costume swap, and Rebecca traded in her beloved mouse costume for a pumpkin one. Then wore it around for the rest of the morning.
And that afternoon we headed to the Werts' house for Mike's graduation party. There turned out to be WAY more kids to play with than usual, and Rebecca had an absolute blast! (Even without kids, there was always Grommit . . . "I love you my little smuppy puppy!!!!")
(Cousin Jay's first marshmallow toasting.)
