Aunt Cass's birthday:
Friday, July 1st--since Rich finally took the test and got his boater's license, we took Nana's boat over to Brigantine to look for crabs and fishies.
The Steel Pier (she wouldn't go on this first ride once she realized we couldn't go with her).
First solo ride! So popular she did it twice.
Breakfast in the casino, Saturday morning. Now THIS was a day and a half. Rich went fishing first thing in the morning, so Becca and I were on our own for this breakfast shot. Unfortunately for all of us, Bally's has three parking structures and he couldn't remember which one he parked in when he got back. So that took a while (and a little help from a security guard with a cart). As we loaded up, I dropped my phone, watching it slide just shy of falling 12 floors to the sidewalk. Then, after we got out of the parking lot I realized I never picked up the phone. So Rich pulled over and back I went to retrieve it. And while we were talking about the whole mess we missed out exit and had to drive out to the visitor's center to turn around. All told, it took us about two hours to get from AC to Brigantine.
The indoor pool at Bally's.
Brigantine--
Longest pony ride EVER!!!!! So great!
4th of July
First time she's really been comfortable in the water all season.
July 5th--with Michelle, Jason, and the kids
After her shower she broke out in this rash--Yikes! After a LOT of nervousness on my part (including calling the doc's office and talking to the triage nurse) I gave her a bath.
It washed right off.
And her new golf clubs bring us up to yesterday:
