This Weekend

On Friday I made Rebecca this shirt in prep for another project that's not going so well. More on that later, perhaps. This morning she refused to wear this one because she "doesn't like brown." Feels so good to be appreciated.

Dad got brave and let Rebecca use a steak knife to slice this banana open. Yikes!

Saturday we cleaned out the garage (again) and Rich set up his fish tank. More on that later, too.

And Sunday we spent the morning doing yardwork, mid-day at the swim beach, and Rich and Rebecca went out for an afternoon fishing trip to fill the tank. Along with a few fish, they brought back some foreign exchange students.

They're part of a one year internship program at the University of Penn, here from Singapore.

And they invited us back to a party at their professor's house.

Rebecca probably had her picture taken 300 or so times over the course of our visit.

And got the biggest slice of this guy's (surprise) birthday cake.

And then another set of girls followed us back to check out the tank and swings.

And Rebecca got to check out their kayak.

This never would have happened to us before Rebecca.
